Description

Our dental program is for children with disabilities. It is designed to help parents with no dental insurance or who are under a Medical assistance program. It is set up to help children attain regular dental check-ups and avoid long waiting lists. Our program will start by providing an examination, X-ray, cleaning, fluoride treatment, and sealants. Sedation will also be provided to those who require it. As funding becomes available, repair will also be included. Children under sedation may receive repair to their teeth at that time, since Dentists prefer to do everything once a child is under. Another problem we will cover is transportation. Some people are unable to appear for their appointment because of no transportation. We will provide transportation where needed.

Objectives

  • Treat children with disabilities at a dental office or clinic on a regular basis.
  • Clean and apply prevention procedures to ensure good oral hygiene.
  • Have children return for dental services on a regular basis, avoiding future dental problems resulting from past poor dental hygiene.
  • Shorten the long waiting lines at dental clinics and offices.

Purpose

Our Dental Program is for school age children with disabilities. It is designed to help parents with no dental insurance or are under a Medical assistance program. It is set up to help children attain good oral health, regular dental check-ups, and avoid long waiting lists.
