Purpose

The Special Kid's Day Memorial Program is a way to remember those special individuals that departed early in life that we came to know and love, that were a part of the Special Kid's Day program and a part of our daily lives.

Tax Exempt Status

Special Kid's Day, Inc. is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. One area we are involved with is to assist in the goals and direction of the Special Kid's Day project.

To help us achieve this purpose, the Corporation was chartered by the State of Wisconsin as a non-profit organization. The I.R.S. has granted us Tax exempt status and The State of Wisconsin Dept. of Regulation and Licensing has designated us as a Charitable Organization.

Who will be remembered at the Memorial site?

This Memorial is for: Special Education students and graduates who have been a part of Special Kid's Day.

Family Permission

We will always seek family permission to place the name of the departed Special Needs child on a granite brick at the Irvine Park Zoo.

Cost

As a Parent or Legal Guardian there is No Cost to you.

Memorial Program Funding Sources

Start up money for this program will come from proceeds of the summer brat fry fund raisers staffed by the Leuck family and close personal friends. Memorial Gifts from, service clubs, businesses, and private donations are always welcome.

Memorial Gifts/Donations

Memorial Gifts specifically designated for this program are welcome. A single granite brick will cost $100.00 at this time. As a way to say "Thank You", individuals making Memorial Gifts will have their name listed on our Web site under Memorial Gifts, unless you choose to remain anonymous.
